Heh, @Mike , do you mean it had an ear tag? If so, do you know which ear (from the kangaroos perspective), what colour tag, and what number on the tag? And that will mean it is an EGK.
If not, Carbon is right that the image has some features of a female Wallaroo, but there are some EGK features too. Did you get a good look at it? And do you know female Wallaroos well enough so you can reliably just tell me what species it was?
Last, please check the location and revise if necessary. The image shows bush but the map shows it in a courtyard.

Location approximate, but better than my phone recorded. I wish the app let us see the location it thinks we are at.

The first photo was a blur as the kangaroo hopped away, but I have added two photos from my camera. One shows blue left and red right tags.
