Suspect this is African Lovegrass Stem Galling wasp, genus Tetramesa. Bore holes and larvae present. https://www.reabic.net/journals/bir/2023/3/BIR_2023_Sutton_etal.pdf

I have added Tetramesa sp. as it seems there is a need to identify how widespread this wasp is, if indeed it is a previously overlooked introduction
