These three were playing on a lyrebird mound for a while. The video is a bit clearer if anybody wants to see. Lots of digging, scratching, circling, and pretend/attempts at flight by one of them - possibly a young one? Around 1300m ASL, in heavy granite/eucalypt country. Suspect brown quail, not stubble quail? I'll defer to the experts :-)
