Wow! Chuffed just to get a decent enough photo, but the experience was so much better!
Standing and photographing a ground full of Thornbills (possiblyly) and a huge tree withh more Pardalotetes than I could count. Then everything stopped! Pardalote calls escalated to alarm and they disappeared. Two Galahs just disappeared. The Thornbills all disappeared.
I turned around in time to see this beauty silently flying east along the edge of the taller vegetation.
Doesn’t get any better thann that!!!
