User's notes

Size was slightly smaller than a mouse. Second day in a row I'd opened the umbrella and this little guy was there. Flew off into nearby cherry trees both times.

Not a lot to go on with the face, tail and underside all hidden. @MPennay might be needed to ID this one.

It's one of the small forest bats, genus Vespadelus there are 3 species in the Canberra region they all look very similar and need clear photos and precise measurements to get down to individual species IDs (mere millimetres seperate them).
