Was single flowers only for each plant. Sorry, didn't get any other photos. Not sure where it fits in the plant world to narrow it down.

Not uncommon for Wahlenbergias to have 6, 7 or 8 petals; although typically they only have 5. I have even seen plants with 3 whorls of 5 petals (15 total) stacked ontop of each other!
