I am trying to suggest Balta sp. here, but it instead puts in Hakea sp.
I think this is a Balta species of cockroach not reported here yet. There are very similar species in Rentz that apparently are only in Queensland. This could be a species that is not in the book, or an undescribed species.
@michaelb could we please Have Balta sp. put in the system under cockroaches?

@michaelb I tried as you requested and it instead put in Delma sp. (genus). There is some glitch here where instead of putting in my suggestions it changes them!

That is so weird. But OK now. Delma sp. (genus) came up as a possible duplicate sp. But I ticked the little override box and was able to add the species. Did you tick the override box Trevor?

I didn't get an override box option, but I only tried through the sighting screen, not through the field guide screens.

OK. It is not possible to add a new species to the taxonomy thru the Sighting page. You have to go to the Cockroach Category page. And easiest thru the Field Guide page, in this case ... Cockroaches (Blattodea, several families) Next time just click on the button "Add species" and proceed from there.
