Ciaran might be able to help with that. I can't, sorry. I'm afraid, to identify which of the 2 species someone needs to examine the lemma and palea which requires a binoscop; experienced botanists may identify from growth habit, foliage colour etc in the field. I was told by botanist / plant ecologist of the Poa sieb at the south slope close to the iron bridge / Casuarina trail and the seepage site close to the Blue Metal Road. It never crossed my mind that P. lab naturally occurs on Mt Majura.
Correct. Poa labillardieri can have leaf blades up to 3.5 mm wide. Neither VICFlora nor PlantNet specify a minimum leaf blade width for Poa labillardieri. Poa sieberiana is stated to have leaf blades 0.2 to 0.7 mm wide. For the sake of simplicity let's assume that Poa sieberiana has leaf blades 0.2 to 0.7 mm wide and Poa labillardieri has leaf blades 0.8 to 3.5 mm wide.
