The subject posed only briefly for me to obtain this image. It then raced off into the garden, legs paddling furiously and head held high, until it disappeared under some foliage. I have not seen this species in my garden previously though there are many Cunningham's skinks, some blue-tongues and the occasional bearded dragon. The block backs onto Tuggeranong Hill.
