Bit hard to tell, but very likely as rabbits make up the bulk of the diet of Little Eagles when they are in teh Canberra area. This is followed in bulk by middle sized birds such as rosellas and starlings/
Does look a like the hindquarters of a rabbit, which Little Eagles will often carry in the air to deliver to a nest area or a juvenile bird. Nice photos, thanks for sharing.
