I'd say this species is much more likely, supposedly the separators of the two are are pallidiflorum has much more showy and nodding inflorescences. It is also a species of quite wet sites

Thanks that looks right. The leaves dont quite look right but they were possibly younger plants. Agree about the flowers. I'll find one one day hopefully!!
