Scieropepla (genus)?

Wings and posture good, but I cannot see any prominent labial palps

Agreed, palps not clearly visible, they might be held close to the head. I was thinking it may be S. reversella (one photo on iNaturalist)

I agree Scieropepla reversella. I tried to add it, but NatureMapr declined to accept it.

A new species for NatureMapr's Canberra and Southern Tablelands region when confirmed.
Only one similar online sighting found on iNaturalist (near Melbourne)
A good find. Would be good to find more of these to be sure. Excellent photo.

Thank you, Ian. It was located in an area that the Friends are busy weeding and replanting in Dryandra Street Woodland. I have done quite a few sweeps there and have become familiar with the common species of moths so was pretty sure that this was a new one for DSW. I'll keep an eye out for its friends.
