User's notes

This gorgeous Monaro GED ran in front of me and stopped to pose. My first sighting of this species, a great day out with FOG. In interesting habitat- very thick, senesced and fallen over grass tussocks. It ran over the top and disappeared into some loose stuff at the end. Had excellent camouflage for this environment- try playing 'spot the dragon' in the second photo. GPS only accurate to about 20m, unfortunately the location on my phone was not on. Last photo shows habitat only, no GED.

Emily can see it in the first pic - it blends in very well - had to look carefully to begin with. Yes having trouble spotting it in the 2nd pic - is it what looks like a small head in the top LH corner, just below the green grass/weed tuft, looking at the camera?
