Hi Bidge, You have submitted a commendable number of records of Tree Goannas (lace Monitors) recently. Well done! And many thanks.
If it is of interest, you may like to record the individuals - they each have unique scale patterns. The face patterns (both sides) would be one of the best areas to focus on for comparison between individuals, but other areas could also work. They live for decades, so if you retain the images for the future, its likely that you will see some individuals repeatedly. For example, in about 7 years, a friend of mine has named 16 different Tree Goannas on a small bush block. He sees about a third of them every year.
