User's notes

Moving rapidly through the tea-tree at about eye level. No interest in flowers, did not pause while negotiating across white petals of leptospermum. Able to reach over small gaps and not reliant on stems to move around. No other insects noticed. Anthropomorphically-speaking, it looked like it was patrolling: had a purposeful movement, not random.
