almost hidden amongst dense growth of sedges, grasses and forbs; beside small creek, semi-shaded by willows.

Viola caleyana was the closest when I worked through but I was uncertain (that's why I entered viola sp.) but V. caleyana.
The site has been quite disturbed. Am not familiar with Viola caleyana.
