Tough climb in for you? I was at bogong gap a week or two ago and found parts pretty tough going with the regeneration.

Yeah harder than we'd hoped! Nice place to pitch a tent though

It is indeed! Did you climb anything while you were there?

We went up the Burbridge Spur to the top from Middle Creek, then we climbed Kelly and Namadgi the next days, not a lot of wildlife about unfortunately but I guess the area got well and truely toasted.

What an agenda! It must've been a magical (and tough) couple of days for u then! It is a real shame how much damage was done up there, but the area is slowly recovering, I climbed Mt Namadgi in 2021 and heard Boobook owls calling at big creamy flats, also saw Platypus in the creek that runs out of Bogong gap when i was there earlier this year.

Anyhow, great to have some sightings from this area! Perhaps we should organise a peak climb one of these days....

For sure mate anytime! We had an amazing experience with a Boobook at Bogong Gap at dusk but didn't manage any images
