@JaneR and @Tapirlord - the Parks and Conservation Rangers did a trial controlling an infestation among wildflowers near the Yerabi Walking Track. Too much off-target damage results to justify the effort. In addition I suspect the species is more widespread than recorded, like @Tapirlord indicated.
