Plant had been completely chopped or chomped. Red stems caught my attention. Nothing much to go on for I’d

Thank You Lord of the Tapirs. That makes sense to me . I've seen very red stems on other Chenopods especiaslly on Atriplex australasica on sand at the coast. I'll go back to my little plant and see if I can find any tiny red hastate leaves.
