Thanks Rob, at least some pairs and chicks from last season do seem to return to the vicinity of their successful nest, before last season's offspring are encouraged to move on. Given egg-laying in teh Canberra region is likely to start soon, it does suggest that there may e a nest hollow close bye to your place.
