The seed pods form now.
I observe that plants flower and fruit at odd times nowadays so the flowering time, which must have been sometimes in winter, might be not useful as an indicator for the species.
I will check glands on the leaves.

Agree: it is not Silverwattle - there are 3 bipinnate wattle species in the area which are mearnsii parramattensis and decurrens. I thought I figured out the difference between meansii and parramattensis but seems I still struggle...
