There's actually quite a few around here, over the last couple of years I've seen them in 6 distinct spots (that is 500m to 1km apart).

If nobody is looking, there won't be any recordings. Which will be the problem with the Jeremiah Wind Farm ecological reports.

A great example is wombats, there are dozens and dozens here. And yet, zero sightings recorded on https://womsat.org.au/womsat/map.aspx
