A moth?

I’m pretty sure it was a moth, but I could be wrong. I added some more photos, one shows a different angle. The plant was Chamomile Sunray (Rhodanthe anthemoides). I’ll keep trying to ID it and see what I can come up with.

Hi Ian, if you look at Gelechioidea (superfamily), it looks a lot like the moth on the white daisy in the field guide images.

I see nothing in GLYPHIPTERIGIDAE wich matches.

More like Heliothela (genus) but not a match to that species already recorded. No upward rurning palps visible in Heliothela because the Heliothinae subfamily is a Pyraloid moth.

OK, your sighting is a good match the the image for the Gelechioidea (superfamily) in the field guide, but I dont know what the source of thát image is. I would like to find out.
Also similar to this sighting I think, but unlike most Glyphipterix (genus) I think.
Cosmopterigidae (family) (Unidentified Cosmopterigid moth).

Looks like a b/w version of anic3 on the bold website for Eretmocera.

Glenn says he'll check at ANIC but he does not think this is a descibed species.
