User's notes

Two pairs with each pair at a hollow in trees about 75m apart. One pair was chewing the surrounds. The male and the female of the other pair engaged in a lot of calling and wing waving. Neither pair entered the hollows. From the ground the hollows do not look highly prospective.

Was the call a bit like growling - spreading wings and "growling" indicates something in hollow that gang-gangs are concerned about usually a possum. Chewing around hollow is a good sign.

Yep. Growling. I have been past that location half a dozen times in the past month with zip Gang gangs present. I'll continue to keep an eye out for them.
