Possibly, I can't say I'm particularly happy confirming grasses without seedheads. See what Matt has to say when he is next on.

I can't really provide a better answer myself. I can't ID a potential wallaby grass from photos without a seedhead as the other semi-diagnostic features are very small and don't show up in photos. I can see what looks like an old scape of a possible wallaby grass in this photo, but it is not attached to the plant.

Thanks John. Looks like it could be R. racemosum, but we will play it safe and leave it as a sp.
