To 45 cm tall. Dense patch in shallow part of ephemeral drainage line Pith interrupted Culm wirey, green to blue-green.

Blue-green culms makes me think Juncus remotiflorus which also has interrupted pith. Was this on sandstone in woodland habitat?

It certainly was a woodland habitat over sedimentary rock, but I didn't notice if the site was sandstone: it was a flattish valley bottom. .
