Likely three older specimens, which appear to have been cut down some time previously, and have since regrown as multi-stemmed specimens, and many (+/- 35) seedlings of various ages growing in the older trees’ immediately vicinity. I have not known Ulmus parvifolia to produce suckers, so I’m reasonably certain that the younger specimens are indeed seedlings.
