Hi Heather, This would be the first record in CNM for Mastacomys at this locality so a more definite photo would be desirable. I think this could equally be Mastacomys, Rattus fuscipes, or Rattus rattus with part of the tail not showing clearly due to the low resolution photo, hence I suggest it for the 'Unknown Rat' category.
