I can't make good bird photos with my mobile; the common myna birds have increased in numbers over the past 7 years or so - not observed 12 years ago when I undertook the first monitoring visits to the reserve east of what is now The Fair. there are now also regularly observed Noisy Miners and starlings which haven't been noticed 12 years ago. on the other hand the frequency and diversity of little woodland birds crashed....

A direct result of human development further fragmenting the landscape and putting more pressure on the already small pocket of remnant woodland here.
