Isn't this and Cyathea australis subsp. australis (Rough Tree Fern) Cyathea australis because of the retention of the old frond bases and sori within the pinnae rather than on the edges?

Cyathea, sporangia are wrong for Dicksonia. Are the stipe bases rough and prickly?
