Actually if you can just give a family if not genus so I can categorise it that would be great. I hadn't seen one like this before.

On second thoughts not I'm sure it is a moth. The relative large size of the head and the clear wings suggest otherwise. I'm having difficulty sggesting a moth family or genus. if a moth I suggest and extremely worn Leptocneria reducta, family Lymantridae.
