The foreshortened nature of the photo is a challenge for identification, however scalloped outer margins of the fore and hindwings, pointed forewing tips, reduces the possibilities. There appear to be dark spots, one each midway near and just inside the costa on each forewing. These and other minor features of the forewing pattern suggest Poecilasthena panaplana, - we can't see the thorax and abdomen, although I see no other records of P. panaplana online except for eastern Victoria. P. iopolia is apparently confined to Tasmania. There may be a simpler explanation eg. Ectropis genus, although I cannot see it yet.
