Sorry Stuart, Hard to tell. This is a newly emerged beetle that hasn't yet developed its markings.

Peltoschema sp. suggested by Martin Lagerway who also adds "This beetle is scarce. I have never discovered which species it is. It is found on bipinnate Acacia, at least in Victoria."
