Significant sighting

Tapirlord noted:

18 Jul 2023

Rare and highly localised occuring along the margins of subalpine bogs which are a limited and rapidly changing habitat in the ACT. This sighting represents a new and rather intriguing location.

User's notes

Not sure of the species. Was a noticeably smaller plant than P. alpestre in the same area, and was growing in sphagnum bog rather than on the grassy snow gum flats or hillslopes.

That would be the other possibility. Though I still reckon P.innubum is an option.

@TobiasHayashi do you have any thoughts on this before I query Lachlan Copeland?

Advice from Lachlan Copeland "I think that'd be venustum...close to its type locality and smaller flowers with proportionately shorter sepals."
