It’s definitely not Melobasis propinqua, the colours are wrong and the time of year is too late. It’s a Melobasis which is as good as you will get due to the photographs.

I agree that’s a definite possibility Allen.
Reality is that it’s also possibly something else.
Probably better off calling it an unidentified beetle because there can be no certainty with this photo.
