This is the only one of this colour that I could see om CNM

Occasional purple forms of katydid occur, see cover of David Rentz's katydid book. Sometimes they turn to green when moulting. Lanciana is not often seem at such low altitude.

Thanks Roger, I haven't noticed any Carpenter bees this year, most of the flowers have gone
