Looks like it is only the 2nd CNM record, others will have to comment on whether it is also the 2nd ACT record.

Hi, I am co-authoring two books on Australian jewel beetles, one of which will be published by CSIRO Publishing, the other by the Ent. Soc. of Victoria I would love one or more specimens of this species to photograph alive if at all possible please for consideration for publication. I am on Facebook and can be contacted via Messenger, or perhaps via this site. There are other buprestid species I am also chasing. All help would be much appreciated, and acknowledged in the book(s)!

Hi entom2, happy for you to use my pictures with credit (though unfortunately I didn't have my good camera with me, so the quality is not too great). I'll check the area again if I can find a live specimen a second time.

It is a bit difficult to answer how many times this species has been recorded in the ACT (unless one is able to access the National Insect Collection) as most of the specimens in this collection have not yet had their locations digitised. However there are 154 records in the the Atlas of Living Australia. 99 of these are from Tasmania, there is only one other record from the ACT and less than a handful of records from the greater CNM area
