User's notes

This is exciting - a hot-nest hollow! Galahs were observed nesting, and very close to fledging, in this hollow a couple of weeks ago. Tonight, there was a family (I assume) of four galahs roosting on branches close to the hollow, but in the hollow was a female gang gang (incubating?), and another could be heard nearby. An advantage of being late nesters . . .
