User's notes

The images show a small Bird-dropping spider sitting patiently on a leaf next to the debris of recent victims (ants, winged ants and the like). The first image shows the rear view which appears to be camouflaged with face-like features including two ears, eyes and a mouth. (See sightings 4386258 and 4367610 for similar examples). This type of spider usually sits with a slightly elevated front end posture and with its legs drawn up around its eyes (as seen in the third and fourth images) leaving just enough space between the legs to peer through. Thanks to Marcus for the initial sighting.
