User's notes

In Stony Creek NR, abt, 7 km east of Queanbeyan. On 12 October 2022 12:15 pm two pairs of gang-gangs noisily interacting near this tree. One bird was perching close to a hollow (identified by chewed bark around the hole). One pair left, and a few minutes later the other pair also left. On 15 October, about 9:30 am a female arrived at the site and backed down about 2 m to the nest site and looked in the hole. The hollow is in a horizontal branch about 30 cm diameter, about 12 m from the ground, in a yellow box.
