User's notes
Sighted growing from the side of a fire trail cutting, in an almost horizontal orientation, and covered by hanging grass and leaf litter. The cutting and the surrounding area were quite wet. The final image shows the inside of the hemispherical cap that initially covered the top of the fungus. Thanks to Barbara for help with this sighting.
