User's notes
Sighted growing from the side of a fire trail cutting, in an almost horizontal orientation, and covered by hanging grass and leaf litter. The cutting and the surrounding area were quite wet. One of the hemispherical caps that initially cover the top of these fungi can be seen to the left of the first image. Thanks to Barbara for help with this sighting.
