User's notes
The forageway was only partially covered over throughout the height of the tree with the cover including small pebbles and what looked like sand grains. No doubt a reflection on the available building materials. The forageway was very busy with a number of ants leaving it to work their way up and down the outside of the tree. Thanks to Barbara for the initial sighting.
