User's notes
The fungus was sighted within a fallen, hollowed out tree trunk. It was growing along several horizontal lines and only protruded from the wood by a few mm. The fourth image gives an indication of scale and the fifth image shows a part of the fungus that had succumbed to a 'not-mould' type of growth.
