A variety of age groups, some small up to 1 m single-stemmed plants but also groups of multistemmed plants in the 2m category. Escapes from the Federal Highway plantings; the third photo shows plants on either side of the fence. There are some massive mature Snowy River Wattles along the Federal Highway which along many other non-local Wattles and Grevilleas are the source of invasion of the (critically endangered) grassy woodlands of Mt Majura's north slope; those grassy woodlands on the north slope are the best quality grassy woodlands in the nature reserve. FoMM volunteers have repeatedly worked in the area to remove woody weeds however with such a source of weeds volunteer work is not sustainable. The weeds that have been planted along the Federal highway should be removed; this is a task beyond the capacity of volunteers as I've pointed out to the land manager in the past 10 years.
