User's notes

A group of three Gang Gang cockatoos were seen at this location. One male and one female were around a hollow in the gum tree at this spot. The female was cleaning out the hollow with the male watching on. There were three other birds nearby playing in the branches - that was uploaded earlier. They were all very active.

By "cleaning out" did you see her scratch loss material out of teh nest or carry material out in her beak. Thanks for this sighting.

The lady one was going in and out of the hole in the tree as if inspecting it and was chopping around the hole with her beak while the male one watched.

Thanks they do prepare hollows by taking beak sized bark from inside and around a hollow and laying the hollow base with these wood chips
