User's notes

Whilst the sighting shows this mating pair, there where were countless numbers of grasshoppers similar to these at many locations along the length of the Fishing Gap road.

Interesting trail from unburnt to burnt bush and good examples of plant succession in the latter. Also good for orchids along the track embankments

Long winged male mating with short winged female. The winged forms able to recolonise burnt areas.
