Yes I think we should. The CNM Committee has recently proposed a 'Clean Up week/day'' to take place on a recommended date/week in january 2025 next. There are number of tasks like this which should be addressed to remove anomolies in the moth checklist/taxonomy. The Committee suggests moderators of species groups and interested contributors should communicate with each other and organise a list of such tasks to be tackled. So if you wish to join such a group I would be willing to record your interest and proposals for action. You may contact me via email on NatureMapr to express interest or raise issues to be tackled.
I am happy to be involved in the cleanup Ian but I am not confident enough to confirm non common moth sightings. I can question and suggest things if that is of value, and I can also do other cleanup tasks. I think though that we (mostly not me) do pretty well at keeping the moths part of NatureMapr pretty much up-to-date. I have sent an email to Emma with some cleanup suggestions but I did not volunteer :-) I have just forwarded that email to your two email addresses. I hope you will get it.
