Thanks Matthew. I was so glad to see the Frogmouth there, being present in spite of the effects of Ginninderry on the Strathnairn precinct as a once-wonderful birding place. Houses, avenues of prunus and Callistemons and infrastructure now on Scarlet and Flame Robin foraging territories.

It's shocked hundreds of people Matthew and placing 30,000 unaware people in a known embers and fire risk zone sets a criminal precedent for Denman's Stage 2. The walk from Strathnairn to Shepherds Lookout is a multi-habitat, spectacular trek. Will many human feet add to the spread of invasives across rocky grassland and woodland systems only time will tell.
