User's notes

The behaviour of this likely family group was very different to groups I’m familiar with around Canberra suggesting they have less interaction with humans - we heard one call and stopped still and remained that way - the male feeding nearby (pic) made no calls when the a bigger group settled in a tree about - he stayed quiet the whole time and kept his eye on us until we walked away - the whole group were silent as well

Thanks I think the shoots are of a Mountain Gum - Eucalyptus dalrympleana
